Bonnie Camp Tour Experience
Bonnie Camp: One of best the
view point of Sundarban situated one of the tributary of River Matla. Mangrove forest can clearly viewed from a
watch tower (Approx height 50 feet) of Bonnie Camp. From this watch
tower you can see sweet-water pond,
where different animal of Sundarban comes for drinking water. We see few resorts
in this Camp may be for visitor.
How to Reach:
- From Kolkata Railway station to Canning by Canning Local
- You can hire a boat from
Canning by any tourist agency
- Or go to Sonakhali/Basanti from Canning via Tracker/Auto and hire a
boat
- Approximate 5 hour will take to reach Bonnie
Camp via Jharkhali; you need a permission to travel any part of Sundarban
like Bonnie Camp. One point where you
can get permission is Jharkhali
Forest Range,
which is on the way of Sonakhali/Canning to Bonnie Camp.
It is better to hire a boat advances from
any tourist agencies at Canning. Group tour with 8 / 14 / 20 person is better
for saving money. Different capacity boat is available from travel
agencies.

take a sunglass, Winter cloth and also summer dress, kambal, Chappal, Easy
photo shooting camera, Binocular, Camera and Cell phone power back up, Extra
drinking and bath water.
- Temperature
is very fluctuating with in day
- At day time
you will feel very hot and evening and later you will feel very cold
- To watch the
site view at the day time when you are near the Bay of Bengal Sunglass and
summer dress is required.
- It is not
easier to captured any running bird/animal photo when you are in a
